Adventure
Lantern Hollow
★★★★★ 4.5
Lantern Hollow is the game I recommend to people who say mobile games stress them out. It's a slow, warm exploration adventure where you wander a foggy village, light lanterns, help odd characters, and gradually piece together why the place feels half-asleep.
There's no combat and no timers. You tap to move, tap to interact, and the game trusts you to poke at things. The art is hand-drawn and lovely, and the ambient sound design does a lot of quiet work to make the village feel real. Puzzles are light — mostly about noticing details and connecting them.
It's short, maybe four or five hours, but it doesn't overstay its welcome. I finished it in two cozy evenings and thought about it afterward, which is rare.
